Lise de Kok will be playing with her quartet as part of the Symphony House Tour on Saturday May 26th. The other members of the quartet are: Toni Picard on cello, Bev Coles on viola, Joanna MacDonald on violin.
They will be performing at 12 o'clock in the house at the corner of Main and James Sts in Barriefield. The program includes Mozart, von Beethoven and de Ariaga.

Why did Noah choose the Dove? Maurice Breslow will tell this story and others on Sunday, April 15, 5 pm, at St. George’s Cathedral, as part of an interfaith "Word and Music" service entitled "Jewish Stories and Songs." The event is the last in the "Word and Music" series until the fall. It features poems and stories by Jewish authors from around the world, selected and read by Maurice Breslow, a retired faculty member of the Department of Drama at Queen’s. In alternation with the readings, mezzo-soprano Meg Breslow, accompanied by Meg Freer, will sing settings of traditional Jewish texts, psalms and prayers. Meg Breslow, a graduate of Queen’s University Music School ,
teaches voice at Kingston School of Music.
