Breslow will tell this story and others on Sunday, April 15, 5
pm, at St. George’s Cathedral, as part of an interfaith
"Word and Music" service entitled "Jewish Stories and Songs."
The event is the last in the "Word and Music" series until the
fall. It features poems and stories by Jewish authors from around the
world, selected and read by Maurice Breslow, a retired faculty member
of the Department of Drama at Queen’s. In alternation with the readings,
mezzo-soprano Meg
Breslow, accompanied by Meg Freer, will sing settings of traditional
